John, is a drama that examines the life of a man living with a physical disability as he embarks on a journey of self-acceptance, confidence and love. A couple of years ago, I was in an acting class where I saw my friend Nicholas embodying an intriguing character from the 1980 Screenplay "The Elephant Man." I was blown away by the authenticity and simplicity of his actions. It was both beautiful and riveting. I immediately approached him after class and said, "This cannot stay in an acting class. We have to film this". "John" pays homage to "The Elephant Man" and humanizes people who live with any disability and gives a voice to the people that society rarely highlights. Hopefully, you enjoy it.
